Ilya Besedin has graduated from NRNU MEPhI in 2014. After one year working in x-ray diffraction imaging at DESY in Hamburg, Germany, he joined Prof. Alexey Ustinov's laboratory of superconducting metamaterials at NUST MISIS and superconducting quantum circuits group at RQC in Moscow, where he works since 2015. Ilya's research is related to superconducting qubit-based electromagnetic metamaterials and simulation and computation with Josephson junction-based qubits.
